In King’s Landing for the first time…

thekrakenofpyke:

You indeed seem to be paying excessive interest in my love life, princess. But one could never get too forward, if you ask me. And I can assure you that no matter how busy my bedchamber gets, there will always be room for someone like yourself.

image

I like to know where the court places their amorous bets. It never hurts to find out people’s weakest points, yet I cannot find one on you as of yet. She laughed, amusement flickering across her mouth. If I find a chance then perhaps I will see if the Greyjoy’s live up to their potential.

In King’s Landing for the first time…

thekrakenofpyke:

Luckily enough, I didn’t have to bed the Starks, my princess. The Starks are known for their morals and surviving unbearable cold, while the Greyjoys are famous for their skills of archery and love-making. So you see, the origin always beats the surroundings we live in - as my bed never stays cold for too long.

image

Then whom warms the rightful Heir to Pyke’s bed at this moment? Is she a fair lady of court or are you an adventurous man? I admit I’m ever so curious. I hope you don’t think me too forward.

In King’s Landing for the first time…

thekrakenofpyke:

Perhaps things are different in the south or in Dorne, but on the Iron Islands we are warriors and as warriors we find too much talking futile. I lived with the Starks where I’ve been taught how to lead councils and rule, but my blood is of salt and iron and I will always be an Ironborn, tailored for the sea and fight. People here talk too much and don’t fight and fuck enough, it seems to me.

image

I shall not hesitate to do so, princess.

A man of action, such ways do not come without some respect. I do hear oft times the Stark’s beds are almost as cold as their weather, how on earth did a man like you survive such harsh conditions and remain unfrozen by their dispositions?

My, my, how exciting!

rose-tyrell:

You have a generous spirit, Lady Martell. Perhaps the two of us can work together to bring some comfort to those hurt by the siege. I’d be happy to have company on my walks. Is your home quite different from Kings Landing?

image

I would like that very much Lady Margaery. Flea Bottom is a squalor, yet that was my summation from only a brief glance. My house guards tell me of the true carnage that has been dealt to the smallfolk of the capital, it saddens my heart to see those who appreciate the lords and ladies of court so well to be treated so badly.

Dorne is indeed very different to King’s Landing. Cultures leaks from the walls of Sunspear, and perhaps it is the strength of the sun, but the Dornish are very hotblooded compared to those in the Crownlands, and I fear ever wandering too close to the North. She chuckled, adjusting the silken scarf that hung on her slim shoulders. I would invite you to Dorne but I fear the Sand Snakes still hold the grudge of their father; my uncle still holds his anger towards the Tyrells, which I am told your father mirrors.

poisonously-sweet:

Quite well, thank you. We must never let ourselves go so long without speaking again.

image

This city is cursed by the distance it has kept us. Tell me, have you enjoyed the capital so far? I fear my patience running thin with the spies that have slipped into my services. Now I must talk of things such as gowns and suitors while time trickles by so slowly.

poisonously-sweet:

Oh my. I seem to not be up to date with the happenings in the kingdom.

image

Tyene my dear, it feels as though the few days we have not conversed have stretched to far more. How are you settling in at the capital?

I feel as if I never stop.

There is always something that needs doing.image

Such a mournful disposition, surely such a young warrior like yourself would have at least something that brightens their day.

In King’s Landing for the first time…

thekrakenofpyke:

I beg to differ, princess Arianne. Knowing how to wield a sword or a bow is often more important than being a good poet.

image

I’d be more than stupid to refuse such offer. And I’m afraid that boredom will strike, in the following days.

Personal strength and intelligence is as important as weaponry sharpened to its finest. When the walls have ears, there are certain games you must play. She waved her hand non-committally, as if ushering away her own words.

Well do not make yourself seldom. My chamber is in the Red Keep, just look for the Dornish guards and you will be sure to find me there.

My, my, how exciting!

rose-tyrell:

They were punished too mercifully for their crimes. King Viserys was kind to allow them to live for their treason. But that is talk for another day.

image

Is this your first time visiting Kings Landing, Lady Martell?

She nodded slowly, lacing her slim fingers between each other before smiling pleasantly.

Yes it is my first time. I must admit the capital is not my favorite place; the line between those with money and those with not is perhaps too defined for my liking. But it is a splendid place, I do know why the singers warble for it.

thekrakenofpyke:

Charm, and many other things, truth to be told.

image

Indeed, a pile of shit it might be, but I do feel how it’s getting more and more interesting with certain people being around.

I find men are only as strong as their most well-chosen words.

If you ever find yourself in boredom, I would be more than happy to provide entertainment.
